Originally born in New York and raised in Pennsylvania, Gia began her journey in animal care in 2020 as a kennel assistant. She joined The Veterinary Center of East Northport in 2024 and is currently working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician through the Veterinary Science Technology program at Suffolk County Community College. She plans to graduate in 2026.

Gia shares her home with two black Lab–Pit mix sisters, Roxie and Bailey, who love squirrel-chasing, couch lounging, and belly rubs.

Outside of school and work, Gia enjoys writing and making music with her boyfriend, Steven, as well as birdwatching and spending quality time with her dogs.
